Product Details

Deuterated chloroform is an organic compound, is the deuterium substitute for chloroform, a deuterium solvent, molecular formula for CDCl3. colorless liquid. Volatile. Mutually soluble with organic solvents, insoluble in water. Because it does not contain stabilizers, after long-term storage, it may contain a small amount of chlorine, phosgene and other decomposition products. Toxic. Used as a solvent for NMR spectrometry. Used because of its good solubility for samples; its residual signal peaks do not interfere with the signal peaks of the sample. The residual proton signal of deuterated chloroform is located at 7.26 ppm; the possible residual water peak is at 1.56 ppm.
